the-unpopular-opinions: I can’t stand women (feminists or otherwise) who have a problem with other women wanting to be housewives. It’s not a choice I would personally make, but I don’t start shoving down their throats how “WOMEN BEFORE YOU HAVE FOUGHT FOR DECADES FOR THIS RIGHT AND YOU DON’T TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT!!!1!” No, women before us have fought for the right to CHOOSE and not be restricted to just playing the good housewife, but if they decide to do it, what’s wrong with that?Black people once couldn’t play in MLB, but no one’s shouting at every other black person that’s not in the MLB how they’re not taking advantage of their rights.To me, telling a woman nowadays that she should work is worse than telling a woman back then to just do housework because back then, they had no other choice. In this time and age, women can choose between working and being a homemaker, but there are these other women who are forcing the decision to work on them by trying to make them feel guilty.
